You don't pray to get God's attention; you pray because you already have His affection.
You don't pray because God is reluctant; you pray because God is generous.
You don't pray to inform God; you pray to become informed by God.
Prayer doesn't change God's heart toward you; prayer changes your agreement with His heart.
You don't pray to overcome God's silence; prayer teaches you how to hear the God who is speaking.
You don't pray from earth hoping Heaven hears; you pray from Heaven because Jesus brought you near.
God doesn't answer prayer to prove Himself faithful; He answers because He is faithful.
You don't read Scripture to make God speak; you read Scripture because God has spoken.
You don't study the Word to win arguments; the Word studies you until truth wins your heart.
You don't need a bigger faith to move God; you need a clearer view of the God who moves mountains.
You don't speak to mountains because you are loud; you speak because Heaven has authorized your voice.
You don't need Heaven to agree with your fear; your fear needs to agree with Heaven.
The question is not whether Heaven will invade earth; the question is whether earth will agree with Heaven.
You don't need God to endorse your plan; your plan needs to surrender to God's purpose.
